This antique walking stick features a treen pommel carved into the shape of a pug dog's head with original glass eyes. It is furnished with a silver collar hallmarked: 
'Sterling Silver' 

There is a maker's mark:
'C&S'

The collar is engraved with the initials of the original owner:
'W.E.R.'
 
Faux bamboo shaft created by scarifying a treen stick, fitted with the original metal ferrule.
